"Willow Chick"  

Although some folk might think this title has something to do with a young gal from the town of Willow, just north of us here in Wasilla, Alaska, but with once glance I hope you know I had something else in mind.  

This little chickadee found a moment to comfortably rest on a pussy willow in early spring.  She sat looking in my window just long enough for a quick photo or two but her sweetness deserved to be captured forever.   She has moved on and so has the original watercolor but prints are available for new homes, birdfeeders and bird lovers alike.  

"Once Upon a Rowboat" was painted from a moment in time near San Fransisco, CA.  

When I saw the little rowboat sitting there.. weathered, worn and waiting...

I just wanted to sit inside and hear the stories it had to tell.  

I wanted to know about the places it had been and people it had carried.
